I feel that the government was right to tax the bonuses given to the execs. The people protested, the government responded. I feel that this speaks for our desire to be a democracy, in which the government reponds to the people, rather than in a republic, which is ruled exclusively by established laws. By the way, do you know what that leaves them with? After 90% is gone? Up to $112, 000, And that's just a bonus. I'm not worried that my salary is going to be deducted at a random point in time because that's clearly an irrelevant concern. What i am afraid of is people who insist upon thinking in provincial, uneducated, self-serving terms. Because we are clearly operating on a completely fucked up ideology which is likely not only to kill us, but possibly most life on this planet.
